DUAMENEFA REGIONAL TOURNAMENT 14 07 2019-WHO QUALIFIES FROM SUNDAY

KETA SPORTING CLUB, ANLO AFIA’GBA UTD FIGHT FOR 1ST POSITION

The ongoing Duamenefa Regional Tournament at Keta wasn’t easy for spectators who came in their numbers to support the rival teams known as Keta Sporting Club and Anlo Afiadenyigba United Warriors at KETASCO park during the weekend.

Keta Sporting Club and Anlo Afiadenyigba United Warriors held a match witnessed during the weekend at KETASCO and the park was filled to capacity. Drumming and dancing took place all over the park. The first half was zero – zero between Keta Sporting Club and Anlo Afiadenyigba United Warriors.

At the end of 50 minutes of play, both sides conceded one goal each and shared the points equally.

Afiadenyigba United Warriors played three matches, won two matches against Atiehepe Eagle United and Adina Coastal Warriors and drew one with Keta Sporting Club.

By the day’s end, Keta Sporting Club was able to draw the match with Anlo Afiadenyigba United Warriors, win one match against Atiehepe Eagle United and lose one to Adina Coastal Warriors.

Anlo Afiadenyigba United Warriors was found leading the table with seven points with four goals, while Adina Coastal Warriors placed in the 2nd position with four points and negative three goals.

Coming up close was Keta Sporting Club who took the 3rd position with four points with no goals.

COMING WEEKEND!

This Saturday and Sunday, Duamenefa Regional Tournament matches will be at Keta and Dzodze for zone F group C and zone A group D.

Keta We Shall Win FC will lock horns with Galosota Lion Babies, Tegbi Future Defenders FC and Adina Air Force United at Keta Senior High Technical School (KETASCO) on Saturday, 20th July. While the Royal FC of Kasu will play their group matches with Requins De Golf of Togo, Fire Prayer FC of Asafotsi and Dzodze Eleven Target FC at Dzodze – Penyi Senior High School – DZOSEC on Sunday 21st July, 2019.
