The high court of Denu in the Ketu South Municipality has ordered the arrest of Togbi Adama III of Somey for contempt of court.
This was contained in suit no. E13/69/2022, dated 14th July, 2022, captioned: ORDER FOR ARREST.
It was therefore ordered by the high court judge Her Lordship Justice Naana Bedu – Addo for the arrest of Togbi Adama III for contempt of the high court, Denu.
The court ordered the respondent, Togbi Adama III, his agents, privies, servants and assigns, etc. a restraint from installing any person whatsoever as Torgbi Baku, Divisional Chief of Denu.
Torgbi Adama III however appeared in court on the 15th day of July, 2022, after the warrant of his arrest was issued by the court.
He was fined to pay Ghc 6,000.00 on or before Friday the 22nd day of July, 2022, or in default serve a three-month jail sentence.
