Akame Youth Association donates to Akame R.C Basic School

The Akame Youth Association, a community-based association in the Akame electoral area in the Ketu South Municipality of the Volta Region, donates an amount of Gh₵ 4,500.00 to the Management of Akame R.C. School.

The donation is to support the school to repair damages caused by a wind storm amidst a heavy downpour, resulting in the destruction of several properties in the municipality.

According to Hon. Kwabla Dakunya, the assembly member of the electoral area, NADMO authorities were duly informed but nothing was done to support the victims, although they have followed up on many occasions, hence the need to call on the Akame Youth Association for support.

According to the assistant P.R.O of the association, Mr. Ernest Abotsi, the primary objective of the association, is to assist the community. He further states that they are ever ready to help support the developmental initiatives of the community.

He used the opportunity to appeal to other citizens of Akame, NGOs, and the general public to support their developmental agenda

The PTA chairman of the school, Prophet Wisdom Liasidzi Nyamadzorse, expresses appreciation on behalf of the school to the Youths Association.
