Duamenefa Foundation Let us coexist in peace together
Torgbiga Dzoku V, the legitimate Paramount Chief of Dzodze Traditional Area and President of the Council of Chiefs, has said that the Duamenefa Foundation exists for the people of Dzodze, and so appreciating the chiefs is not that much necessary.
He made the statement when the Duamenefa Foundation Executive Committee, led by its Executive President Mr. Ketaman Emmanuel Evortepe, paid an official visit to him and the other chiefs on Wednesday, 19th November 2025. The visit aimed to acknowledge and appreciate the role played by the traditional authorities during the recently celebrated Duamenefa Grand Durbar.
According to Torgbiga Dzoku V, the work of the Duamenefa Foundation is significant, as it promotes the Dzodze Traditional Area in multiple ways. He added that the chiefs cannot hesitate to respond to the Foundation’s calls and would even make themselves available before the Foundation arrives.
He also praised Mr. Ketaman Emmanuel Evortepe for his efforts in organizing the recent Dzodze Deza. Torgbiga revealed that Mr. Evortepe consistently consulted him on the arrangements and ensured that promotional jingles were aired on Fafaa 100.3 FM, which is established in the Dzodze Traditional Area along with the headquarters of the Duamenefa Foundation, highlighting the community-centered nature of the Foundation’s work.
The event was described as very amazing, with Torgbiga Dzoku V and his respected chiefs receiving the Foundation delegation beautifully, making the visit memorable and significant for both parties.
In response, Mr. Ketaman Emmanuel Evortepe thanked Torgbiga Dzoku V and his chiefs for their continued support and involvement in the activities of the Duamenefa Foundation. He pledged mutual cooperation to further develop the Dzodze Traditional Area and strengthen the impact of the Foundation’s initiatives.
Torgbiga Dzoku V described Mr. Evortepe’s efforts as commendable and expressed joy at the positive impact of the Duamenefa Foundation’s work, particularly in promoting Dzodze Deza 2025 and supporting community development.
